With summer finally starting to show it’s face, we now turn our attention to more svelte clothing, and like the peacocks that we are, we perhaps even pick out a few flashier items like many of the new breed of cyclists who ‘Look Pro, Go Slow’ will undoubtedly support.
Today, the classy french folk at Cafe du Cycliste launch the stylish looking Micheline jersey, ideal for the warm weather, with both the mens micheline and a womens micheline styled in a non see-through white mesh with geometric shapes on the sleeve.
The michelin jersey, which is ultra lightweight for hot conditions has been designed to provide high performance and comfort when riding on even the warmest of days. The carefully structured jersey has a classic, non-transparent, mesh body with contrasting horizontal mesh sleeves and collar.
The high wicking fabric is fast drying and the dual mesh combination maximises airflow, providing superb moisture transfer to allow rapid evaporation as you perspire and unrivalled ventilation to aid core temperature control.
The micheline jersey features full zip, with zip lock, giving the rider further flexibility in the heat and the low profile collar adds to the hot weather focused design.
The women’s micheline jersey features a women specific cut, reinforced pocket structure and three cargo pockets, one of which is zipped, while a specially designed silicon gripper allows the jersey to be loaded up without it losing shape on the bike. Styled with a modern take on geometric shapes around the collar and weighing in at less than 120g.
As a company, Cafe du Cycliste have come a long way since their relatively humble beginnings as a café in the hills of the french mediterranean coast in 2009. With the vast majority of there customers coming from outside of the european union, it’s clear they are going places. Undoubtedly, we’ll be keeping a close eye on their progress.
